Forestella offers the best Italian food in Gauting. In my opinion, even better than my experience in Italy itself. It is true, the service is not always sooo friendly, but it is usually very busy and a lot of work for few staff. Accordingly, the food may take A little longer. The ambience is cozy, clean and the toilets are also totally okay. It's great to be able to enjoy stone-made pizza with fresh ingredients. The food is excellent, albeit upscale. Very friendly and attentive staff. A great atmosphere. Today we tried the restaurant with our 3 year old son. Very child friendly. Both our son and we felt very comfortable and welcome. The pizza funghi from the stone oven was delicious. Dessert just as great (Schockoladen souffle), when we ordered the dessert, the waiter pointed out that the preparation takes about 15 minutes, since we were there with our son, it was a nice note, it could have been that you have no time to wait, because of the bedtime of the child or the like, very attentive, thank you again. Service is great, you can definitely feel that they’re personally preparing every dish especially for you. Lunch menu is a great deal under the week, three courses for fair price, fresh and delicious.
